Sonos Play:3 All-In-One Wireless Music Player With 3 Integrated Speakers (White, NEW) (Electronics) I jumped on the Sonos bandwagon about a year ago. Since then I've filled just about every nook and cranny of my house with Zone Players. I had 13 zones until my recent purchase of three Play 3's. I put these little guys in various spots in the house that previously had been devoid of music. The Play 5 sometimes is a little too big for a room or space and the Play 3 fills those spaces nicely. I think the Play 3 sounds great it FILLS the rooms I have them in with beautiful music. I have TEN Play 5's and I can attest the Play 3 is every bit as cool as the Play 5. It's a lot smaller so it obviously can't crank out the volume quite as loud but it's "footprint" is a lot smaller then the Play 5. Now the main drawback of the Play 3 as I see it is the lack of head phone out or direct in.

Logitech Squeezebox Touch (Electronics) After my 10 year old Arcam CD player died I looked at what options I had to replace it. I have over 1000 CD's and was in the process of re-importing them into my iTunes library as Apple Lossless, and so it seemed like a good time to explore options for directly playing my iTunes library in some way. I had read glowing reviews of the Squeezebox Touch but at a $300 price point, and coming from a maker of mass market webcams and keyboards, I hadn't taken it seriously. A good friend of mine, and audiophile, convinced me to check out the Touch, so I did. The more I read about it, the more it seemed to be the perfect replacement for my CD player.

Bose Wave Music System - Graphite Gray (Electronics) This is an update to my first review of December 16, 2006. I have had this for 6 years or so, and just today I went to get this and move it out in the garage and still was kind of cursing it because it is just about useless. The problem comes with there being no controls on this unit. All the other plusses or minuses are secondary to the fact that this damn radio/cd is useless because you have always have or know where the remote is to operate it. You cannot even turn the thing off without the remote.

Western Digital WD TV Live Hub 1 TB Media Center (Electronics) This box is in theory fantastic. It has great features, and it could have been everything you needed. But because of running a software full of bugs it is almost unusable. If you think about buying it then you should really read this before making your desicion. I normally don't complain about gadgets, I have been happy with most of my 100+ gadgets, but people need to know a few things about this box that I wish I knew before buying. I have had this for a few months now and instead of getting used to it is getting more and more on my nerves. I replaced my old windows media center PC (because of it's size) with this box.

Sonos Play 5 All-In-One Wireless Music Player With 5 Integrated Speakers (S5, White) (Electronics) I just purchased the s5 with a zone bridge and the CR200. The combination is absolutely amazing. Installation was easy and operation is intuitive. There is plenty out there on how these things work, so I won't go into details on that. But I do have two observations to share: 1) In addition to the s5, I also picked up a NAS drive so that I could stream my 5000+ track mp3 library. After all, streaming my collection with a touch screen remote was one of the main reason I looked at Sonos in the first place. But, after setting Sonos up I decided to give Napster a try.

Panasonic SC-HTB10 120W 2.1-Channel Slim Sound Bar System with 3D Pass Through (Black) (Electronics) I am adding to this review--and boy do I feel dumb now! I maintain that the instructions for this product are bad-- The ONLY cable I needed to use was the digital optical cable, from my TV to the sound bar. My blu ray player and cable box are connect to my TV via HDMI. All sound now plays via the sound bar AND my TV (although I can mute that if I want). Had the instructions been simple, it would have taken less than 5 minutes to set this up! There are two HDMI ports and a digital optical port on the bar; the instructions make you believe you need to connect a "sound in" and "sound out" but don't really give details. They need to change them to read "connect a digital optical cable to the bar; connect the other end to your TV.

Logitech Squeezebox Radio Music Player with Color Screen (Black) (Electronics) This COULD be such a great product, but the radio firmware is HORRIBLY BUGGY! As other reviewers have observed, the radio will power off for no reason, will lose connection to the internet forcing you to constantly unplug the unit, hold down buttons upon restart, and then enter your WIFI codes again and again (not a good thing if you have a lengthy password). I have spent countless hours on the phone with Logitech support.

Mikasa English Countryside 45Pc Set Service For 8, With Serving Pieces (Kitchen) I love this dinnerware set. Being white it does not conflict with the color of the food yet the pattern adds interest and beauty. I also love the fact it does not get hot in the microwave like my Pfaltzgraff set did. It arrived quickly, was packaged very well and nothing was broken in shipping. The only drawback is the salad plates are too big for the top shelf of my dishwasher.
