Evercare Gives $100,000 to the John A. Hartford Foundation Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence

Evercare recently announced it would donate $100,000 to the John A. Hartford Foundation Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence (CGNE) through its Evercare Scholars Program for the second straight year, underscoring its commitment to the future leaders in geriatric nursing care. The funding will provide scholarships to graduate nursing students at five schools in addition to grants for geriatric-focused educational programs at two new Centers at the University of Minnesota and Arizona State University.

The National League for Nursing has announced the creation of a new membership category for agencies, organizations, and companies who are committed to helping meet the needs of the ever-changing health care environment.
