Textrade King Inner Spring Pillow Top Mattress in a Box (Kitchen) I am so pleased with the quality of this mattress. The bed arrived within 2 days (prime shipping) and within 15 minutes it was ready to sleep on. I've not noticed any issue with sheets not fitting but maybe it's because I'm using jersey sheets and they tend to shrink up a little when you wash them. This is definitely a softer mattress so keep that in mind. I had a firm mattress previously and it took 2 nights for my back to adjust but now i'm sleeping better than i ever have. I debated with myself on whether or not to get it for a long time, The price is great but for me every penny counts and I knew it wasn't going back in a box if I didn't like it. I hope amazon continues to carry this mattress as I plan on getting another for my son when his mattress wears out. .

I've spent most of my teenage years up late at night on all kinds of assignments and late night gaming sessions(I was a kid!). This has left me with irregular sleep patterns that never fully normalized until I purchased this mattress 364 days ago. The purchase of this mattress has eased my tensions when I try to rest and allows me to drop into a coma for at least eight hours of good restful sleep. This was an amazing buy when it was nearly forty dollars more expensive a year ago and it's done wonders for my posture and health while I work and go to college. Some other important details such as odor and firmness of the mattress should also be highlighted. The odor of the mattress dissipated within a couple of weeks for me and hasn't returned. The mattress itself is firm enough that you don't have to worry about spilling a drink on it if you leave it on the bed(I wouldn't recommend this) and soft enough to really let you unwind after a bad day. My weight as a male at a maximum of 265 lbs a year ago(I've lost 40 lbs since) never became an issue with this mattress either. Buy this mattress. You won't regret it. .

The mattress is very commfortable when used with an existing box spring. There is some odor from the foam that mostly disapates after a few days and completely after several weeks. Leaving the mattress unfolded and uncovered as recommended for several days would likely overcome this minor annoyance. A great night's sleep is the best feature. The mattress aborbs shock and movement as an added benefit. If you would like a foam mattress the price is very reasonable for a mattress of this quality. King Bed 8" Thick Wood Box Foundation for memory foam, latex, and air mattresses Ok so this is an interesting concept. First, my husband and I argued as to whether or not the box could possibly have a box springs in it - he said no way and I told him that it was. We opened the box to find that "some assembly is required." The assembly is very easy. It took us less than 30 minutes for sure. I think a few more screws in the slats would have been much better and I would recommend that to the company - it's a little cheap feeling as is, but that is not a big deal. Anyway, we got to the part where we were supposed to put the cover over the wood frame and I was a little disappointed by the fact that our cover was a little big - didn't fit quite right and so the whole thing looked a little "home-made" if you know what I mean. We went ahead and used it and got no complaints from our guests, so with a bedskirt or long bedspread it works fine. If you need a king size box springs, you want it shipped to you, you don't want to pay a lot, and no one is going to see it I would recommend this item. It met our needs so I am giving it four stars. I took one away because it does appear a little "home-made" to me and a few more screws would have improved the quality. .

Textrade Queen Inner Spring Pillow Top Mattress in a Box (Kitchen) I ordered this mattress because of all the great reviews it had. It was meant to be used as a temporary bed while I wait for construction to end. Yes, it was pretty cool watching it go from a box to a full fledged mattress, but as excited as I was to get it, it was a huge disappointment. My initial instincts said that if they could fold this mattress into a box, its springs could not be very strong. I should have listened to my own instincts. The mattress is so soft, it's like sleeping on a bed of jello. There is no support what-so-ever. I tend to enjoy soft mattresses, but this one sinks as you sleep on it, so I wake up constantly throughout the night with back pains or with my head much lower than the rest of my body. It really is too bad, and once it's out of that box, there is no way to return it. Had read a few reviews with the same complaint. Should have listened to them. .

Serta 12-Inch Gel Foam 3-Layer Queen Mattress (Kitchen) My husband suffers from a back disability and has already had 2 surgeries. He frequently cannot get a good consistant rest and rarely sleeps through the night. We went on vacation and slept on this mattress in my sister's house. My husband said he had never slept so well! I asked her what type of memory foam mattress it was and she told me it was an 8-inch serta gel-foam mattress ("the one with the sheep"). I decided then and there that it would be his Christmas present this year. I bought the Serta 12-inch gel-foam mattress as I did not intend to use my old box springs as my sister did. For the frame, I bought the Platform Metal Frame from Night Therapy which was so simple to assemble. I can gladly report that the 1st night he slept on this mattress, he slept for 8 hours straight! It was amazing! I couldn't have picked anything better! It was a little cumbersome and definitely needed two people to set it up but easier than dragging a queen mattress into the house. It was quite fascinating to watch as it "grew up!" (now wished I had videotaped it) I did not notice any odor in the room, but left the windows open anyways. He was able to sleep on it the first night with no problem. I am very pleased with this purchase! It has been 2 weeks now and he is sleeping longer and waking up less. I hope it continues this way. .
