Quinny Zapp Stroller

Quinny Zapp Stroller - Capri (Baby Product) I have the Quinny Zapp stroller in capri. So far, I'm very happy with it. 1) :-): I was so happy that I was able to assemble the stroller myself! (OK, I typically rely on my husband to bring out his tool box, ignore the instructions, and figure it out the manly man way.) I just identified the parts per the manual, followed the instructions, and pop, there it was! 2) :-): Sometimes, us mommies forget how to close or open the stroller, thanks to all the craziness going on. But the Zapp has the parts clearly marked to assist you in closing and opening the stroller. Making it a total breeze. 3) :-0: My husband has a uncomfortable time pushing this stroller because he needs to bend his back a bit, rather than be able to just stand up straight. So if you're tall, don't buy it without testing it out first. 4) :-): They're really not kidding when they say that the Zapp is currently the smallest stroller out there. It takes up only a tiny chunk of space in my Volvo V50. 5) :-O: The storage unit capacity is minimal. And the storage basket is not easily accessible. So think twice before you take your baby out in this stroller on a shopping spree. Overall, it's a great deal. .

Mutsy Spider Stroller Black

Mutsy Spider Stroller (Baby Product) On riding: great ease in maneuvering the stroller over uneven sidewalks; rides really smooth; can hold bigger sized babies to toddlers very well; definitely able to steer with one hand. On comfort: my baby is 9mths old (18.5lbs, 28") but still doesn't quite fit the stroller comfortably. She tends to slide to the sides (even though she is perfectly able to sit up). The upright position has a slight too much recline that when she sits, she tends to strain her head outwards to look straight. With her height (she has a long torso too), she still doesn't reach the head rest, but it's not a problem. There is a buckle on the back to recline the seat about another 20degrees (maybe) but not much more. The straps are a great 5pt harness system, but again, it's a bit too loose for her now. Her arms can actually slide out from the shoulder straps. The straps are those standard 1/2inch wide nylon straps. The padding on the stroller is of good quality, but is not soft or cushy. On transportation: folds with one hand quite easily (once you get the hang of it), but it is heavy. An extra step of stowing away the handle is needed before collapsing the stroller. Fits easily in a sedan trunk, but it doesn't fold as small. Once folded, you can't actually rest vertically standing up (which is the most convenient position to later set it up again) as it sits on the sun canopy, which is not the most sturdy part to rest the heavy thing on. So, you do have to then turn it to the side to put it down (since it's kinda heavy, makes it a bit more work to have to do that). On features: adjustable handle, great wheel locking (only need to lock one side to have both wheels locked, and easy to unlock) mechanism. Small basket compared to some strollers, but decent enough to carry some items. A messenger style diaper bag hangs well from handle. Wide back wheels make it absolutely stable, but difficult at places with tight spaces (eg, chinese restaurants!) Overall a very sturdy stroller that rides excellent, probably fits an older child better than babies (it is recommended for babies 4months and up, but additional adjustments need to be made for that), and is a stroller that probably will withstand a lot of use well. = I am now adding to the above review as I have now used the stroller for about 1 year. Overall, I have to reduce the rating stars as it really is much too heavy to cart it everywhere. I only use it now for walks around my neighborhood or if I have a big trip (to the zoo etc...) to make. I have to buy an additional shade for the summer and like one of the reviewers put it, "the shade is as useless as the basket." I agree. I also think the recline is probably not good ergonomically for little ones. At sitting up, my daughter ends up slouching a lot and strains to look at things. I have numerous other passerbys commenting on how my daughter looks uncomfortable in the stroller becuz of the way she sits.It is very sturdy, but as with any products, the wear on the parts is detectable even only after 1 year (doesn't collapse as easy any more; the steering gets tighter etc...). I really am thinking of getting another just because of it's weight and the slouch my daughter is getting (she does not slouch at all otherwise). .

Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 3 Wheel, Stroller, Black

Quinny Buzz, 2008/2009, 3 Wheel, Stroller (Baby Product) I bought this stroller at >50% off - so I'm pretty happy with my purchase compared to other strollers I could have bought at that price. However, it is not perfect and there are definitely some cons. PROS: Seat faces forward and reverse - and it is easily interchanged. The seat is comfortable for my child and she is very content to sit in it for a long ride. It has a smooth ride and is great for walking on the bumpy sidewalks in my neighborhood. The stroller is light. CONS: In any position other than fully upright, the sun shade is useless (The Protect-a-Bub Compact fixed this problem for us). If you try to put the stroller in the car sideways, the damn thing pops open. .

Quinny Zapp, 2008/2009, 4 Wheel, Stroller, Black

Quinny Zapp, 2008/2009, 4 Wheel, Stroller, Black (Baby Product) In my quest for a great stroller, many have fallen by the wayside.....gone to Goodwill, been given away, sold at consignment, etc. I have used the Zapp for about 2 years, and it has endured and excelled. Even after much use, it does not wiggle, wobble, or squeak. It is, by far, the closest I've found to great. The wheels are the best I've ever used. They are rubber, as opposed to plastic, so it rolls as easily on smooth tile or polished hardwood as it does over concrete. The wheels are wide enough to easily cross broken sidewalk and rough doorways, I've even pushed it across grass and sand with ease. One of the most awesome features is the steering. It is one hand, even one finger, push and steer with my 33 lb. toddler in it. I can turn it in a complete circle with one hand. The wide wheelbase does make some aisles impossible, but I'll sacrifice that for the other great features. The wide wheelbase also makes it more stable than any other folding stroller I have used. I can easily hang a purse on the back, but probably not a full size, loaded diaper bag. My toddler can wiggle and flail around without fear. The seat is a durable, breathable material and has great support. The only drawback is that it does not recline. I carry one of those circular headrests in the basket. The footrest area is perfect, even for a tall, 37" child. The breaking system is awesome, even in flip flops. The basket is small, but I didn't expect much in a lightweight folding stroller. I can stuff a small diaper bag and a few purchases in, but not much more. I've seen better sunshades, but this one is still more than adequate. The parent and child windows are great. The major selling point to me was the small fold. In its bag, I can put it in the overhead of an airplane. I have read that some people have had trouble getting it into the bag, but I've never had a problem. It is great in restaurants or waiting rooms. It folds small enough to roll under a table or most chairs. The fold and unfold is easiest with two hands, but not impossible with one. The side releases do not have to be depressed at the same time, though the left one must be depressed first. It can be awkward with one hand. The other thing of note about unfolding it is that you have to use the top of your foot to pull the back of the frame out, or else you have to bend down and do it by hand. It is not comfortable in flip flops or sandals. If you are looking for something you can fold and carry on the train, bus, subway, etc., this might not be the stroller for you. It is compact and lightweight, but doesn't have a strap or handle. It is awkward to carry unless it is in the case, which isn't convenient when using public transportation. This stroller wouldn't be my only stroller from infancy, but for what it is designed to be, a lightweight small folder, it has been great. This has been my favorite stroller yet. .

Phil & Ted's Smart Single Stroller

phil&teds Smart Buggy Compact Stroller, Black (Baby Product) We were looking to get a new lightweight stroller and heading to a local store to try some out. We saw this one and we were immediately drawn to it. It has a great design. We loaded our toddler into the seat to test it out and she liked it right away since it allows her to sit up completely without slouching. The stroller glides smoothly over the floor and is easy to push. Out on the sidewalk, it still rolls smoothly and works fine over bumps. I do wish the handle bars were adjustable because it would be nice if they were a little higher but nothing to complain about. I like that I can reverse the seat and have her sit facing me too. This position gives you the most optimal recline positions which is good for naps but it is still comfortable for her to nap in the upright position facing outward. ------------------ We've had this stroller for a few weeks now and everyone (including my picky toddler) is happy with it. I highly recommend it! .

Maclaren Twin Triumph Stroller, Scarlet

Maclaren Twin Triumph Stroller, Coffee and Silver (Baby Product) We purchased this stroller for our twins in October 2010, and by December the back foot pedal (used to open and close the stroller) had broken off completely. We contacted MacLaren, and they paid for it to be shipped to New Jersey to be 'inspected and repaired.' They had the stroller a month before they finally repaired the stroller and we got it back. In March 2011 (after only 5 months of light use) the same foot pedal broke off again. We sent the stroller to MacLaren mid-March, and they STILL have the stroller, and do not know why it keeps breaking-- and refuse to replace the stroller.I am not sure what MacLaren thinks people do without their primary stroller (as mentioned above, it is used lightly- mostly mall walking 2-3 times a week), and they want to replace the entire chastity on the stroller. We have sent them 4 e-mails, and they have only called once (Mid April) to let us know what the status is of the stroller, and to let us know that it would be returned within 10 days. So, here we are, a 7 month old stroller that MacLaren has had in it's repair shop for 3 months. My twins are now 13 months old, so we were forced to make a decision and purchase a new stroller. This is NOT what I expected with MacLarens reputation, otherwise I would not have invested the money into this stroller to begin with. .

Mia Moda Cielo Evolution Stroller, Flame

Mia Moda Cielo Evolution Stroller (Baby Product) Just received this stroller last night. We sold our Chicco Cortina travel system in order to buy this stroller. Our son is now 2.5 and doesn't need a giant stroller like the Chicco, but needs something easy to get in and out of and something he can nap in if needed. This looked like it would be perfect. Plus we are taking him on his first Disney trip soon and wanted something that would be easy to travel with. The stroller arrived and I was surprised that the only thing I had to do was snap on the rear wheels. Assembled in 30 seconds! Then I took it for a test drive around the house. Steers very well and easily. Seems like a really nice ride as well. Next, the big challenge, folding it back up. Well I broke my thumbnail trying to figure it out. Not a good start. After about 5 minutes of looking at the directions and still failing, I called in my husband the engineer. He struggled and cussed at if for another 5 minutes and then SUCCESS! We did not understand how the cup holder needed to be turned and that made all the difference. We practiced setting it up and collapsing it a couple times and it works like a breeze now. May have needed to get limbered up in the joints a bit as it was stiff at first. My son loves the red color and we do too. I can't wait to take it out in public! This is a GREAT STROLLER! .

Maxi-Cosi Perle Stroller, Trail

Maxi-Cosi Perle Stroller, Penguin (Baby Product) My son loved this stroller, purchased it when he was 51/2 months. He's sitting good in the padded seat and he's comfortable in the straps. The stroller is easy to set up and fold back, but requires two hands to unlock after being folded (no big deal). The stroller drives easily, but we've had to pull it backwards sometimes because the sun shade is on the small side and can't be detached to move further. The wheels are a little bit wobbly, but not more than I expected. Lightweight. Con: When the stroller folds up the wheels touch the inside of the sun shade, making it dirty. Maxi-Cosi Perle Stroller, Trail (Baby Product) I bought this with the Mico carseat to use as a travel system. The nice thing is that is much smaller than most travel system strollers and folds up like an umbrella stroller. There is a lock on it but it is extremley hard to open, and it almost always locks everytime you fold it up..
