The First Years Ignite Stroller, Royal Blue/Black

The First Years Ignite Stroller (Baby Product) This is a GREAT little stroller for all the reasons mentioned above, particularly the height of the handles which my husband commented on right away! However, from the photograph & description on Amazon, I thought I was purchasing a brown stoller with white polka dots for our grandson, as the description was simply "Polka Dots". Well . . . it should read "Pink Polka Dots"! This is not a huge deal - rather a surprise and annoyance which, perhaps, my comments will help others avoid. I know that I can return it and reorder if I choose, which Amazon makes pretty simple I've learned. Perhaps rather than box it up again and schlepp it to UPS, Nana & Papa could grow to like pink for our first little grandbaby boy! Might be a good "stretch" for us ol' baby boomers! Then again, the red or khaki looks nice! I would reorder The First Years Ignite and recommend this stroller to others for the quality, safety features and price! .

UPPAbaby G-Luxe Stroller, Jake/Black (Baby Product) I just recently purchased the G-Luxe for a plane trip I was taking with my 10-month old son. We live in an urban area and have a big heavy Teutonia that I use for walks on the city sidewalks and off-roading but it's just too big for travel and takes up the entire trunk of my Avalon. Overall I really like the G-luxe. I was torn between the G-Luxe, the always popular Maclarens, and the Baby Jogger City Mini. I eliminated the Maclarens because I just couldn't get the release button to work on the harness. It was so difficult. Even the store representatives struggled with it. Also, they just felt flimsier t me. Maybe this is a result of the aluminum frame but I just didn't see quality for the money. I came very close to purchasing the BJCM and probably would have if I didnt already have an all-purpose stroller. It was just too expensive and heavy to justify as my travel stroller. It's also pretty wide with the 3-wheel system and weighs about 5 lbs more than the G-Luxe. The one-hand fold though is FANTASTIC. Uppababy is local for me (Massachusetts)and I try to support local businesses when I can. Things I love about the G-luxe: Light and easy to fold once you get the hang of it. You do need two hands but I've managed it several times while holding my baby. Easy-ish to open but the locking petal is a little stiff. My husband kept asking if he would break it by stepping too hard. Maybe this will get better with use. I love the 5-point harness and the release button is so much easier than the Maclarens. The sun canopy is fantastic. Easily the most coverage I've seen on any umbrella stroller. It has an adjustable recline which is also very rare on umbrellas. It's a draw sting system so it's very adjustable. There aren't really any sides to it when in the full upright position which is great for my son to look around. Not great for napping but there's a bit of a side wall when reclined. Soft, machine-washable seat pad. Comes with a cup holder. I thought this was silly at first but found I use it all the time and the others you have to buy them separately. Overall a smooth ride. Much better than I thought it would be after being used to my foam-tired Teutonia tank with suspension system. I did find I kicked the wheels a bit at first but the handles are longer than most I tried and I got used to the wheel placement fairly easily. I think I was used to the wide-set wheels on the Teutonia. From what I read it is a problem with almost all umbrella type strollers. I'm fairly tall at 5'8" and this stroller is very comfortable to push. I'm not stooped over at all. My husband is 6'3" and also says it's comfortable to push. He has no problem kicking the wheels. Things that are a little annoying maybe to some but I deal with: White interior canopy. Really? Who thought this was a good idea?? It's white on all the color models. No place to attach a snack cup. The footrest goes up every time you close the stroller so you have to adjust it every time you open it if you don't want it up. It says it stands by itself, but most of the time I've tried this it topples over eventually from wind or whatever. So I try not to use it. Helpful if you need to set it down for a minute or if it's in a closet or something but it isn't very sturdy. I was afraid of buyer's remorse since these things are so expensive but I have been very happy. I have received several compliments on the looks and handling and recommend it to friends. .

Dream On Me Double Twin Stroller, Red (Baby Product) I moved to a big city and bought this for city errands with my kids. I like the little baskets underneath. They are aren't heavy duty, but just enough to add a level of convenience that my single umbrella stroller (Jeep) really lacked. It folds easily and I really like that it has the 5 point harness straps. On the down side, the sun shades aren't great. With the Jeep umbrella strollers the sunshades are small too, but you can adjust them to wherever the sun is hitting. Not so with the Dream On Me Twin - there is very little range of motion with the sunshades. My main complaint, though, it the width. I wish it were about 2 inches narrower. It is the same width as my double jogger, so it's still difficult to get through doorways and maneuver around non-kid-friendly stores. If I were at an amusement park or something, however, the width probably wouldn't matter as much. Also, a cup holder for mommy would be nice. I really like how far the seats recline, though. It does feel sturdy for an umbrella stroller and it fits well in the trunk of our little car. Overall, I'm happy with the stroller. .

Graco Alano Stroller, Ally (Baby Product) This stroller is practical and it matches the infant car seat carrier. When the baby was a newborn I would remove the carrier from the base and placed it in the stroller and I didnt have to wake her up. I can open it using one hand for turning the handle lock and my foot for holding the base while pushing it.I gave it four stars because now that she is older and does like to go for walks around the neighborhood before naptime, it will be nice if I was able to lay the baby flat when she does falls asleep in it.Other than that I really like this stroller. Graco Alano Stroller, Ally (Baby Product) We love this stroller! My husband and I were shocked to find that it maneuvers with such ease. We can literally push it one-handed, and it turns so well. The great maneuverability could be because the stroller is so amazingly lightweight, which also had us shocked because is is a standard size stroller! Even my 5 year old and 3 year old are able to push this stroller around, in fact they fight over it! In reference to previous reviews regarding the recline strap, I really do not think that the recline strap is any reason to give it so few stars, because honestly the recline strap works just fine..

Britax B-Ready Stroller, Black (Baby Product) Some differences with Uppababy Vs. Britax B-Ready: WHEELS - Vista wins. Vista had better wheels. Vista had tread and were more grippery tire like feel. B-Ready had smooth plastic feel to them. I can see that they would get all scratched up easily. B-Ready also had fenders on them which seem to add to bulk. Comparing closely it almost appear one could put Vista's wheels to B-Ready. It's that similar! HANDLE - B-Ready wins. Handle on B-Ready was nicer than Vista. It pivoted instead of telescoping (which was what the Vista does). The center was had a grip that was molded for one-handed steering. The arms and wrist seem more comfortable (rested more parallel like on a keyboard). My wife at 5'2 found the Vista handle too high and wished it could adjust lower. FOLDING - Vista wins (barely). Comparing the two, the wife like the Vista (it did take several attempts for wife to get the feel for it, as did I ! Once figured out it was ok).B-Ready required two hands as well but you sort of have to use your stomach so that you could pull the levers toward you and have it collapse. I found it easy if you have larger hands you can pull down the levers easier but since my wife is 5'2, her hands are smaller and sort of used her stomach a bit. With time, I think she could avoid using her stomach. She would just hold the bar and use her fingers to pull down. We also found that you had to straighten out the B-Ready's handle so that when you fold it, it would stand properly stand up and you could lock the folding clasp. DEFINITELY TRY FOLDING IT YOURSELF IN THE STORE! (just to add an another stroller, the Baby Jogger City Select has really easy folding capability!). Both stands up when folded although you have to consciously stand it up. The sales person always seems to fold it and let it flop to the ground. I doubt one would do that outside. Note on second seat folding - The folding of the B-Ready allows the second seat to be on but it was very bulky (and heavy at a total of 35 lbs) and the canopy of the second seat would get dirty. It's better to just remove the seat. MAIN SEAT - Vista wins. Vista has 0 degree seat position and B-Ready did not. Vista 2010 added this to address a common complaint. B-Ready is slightly on the decline. So while the B-Ready has a handle that is more ergonomically correct for mom's wrist, it seems the seat upright capability is better for the kid. (previous Vista 2009 owners found the kid pulling themselves forward to get upright). SECOND SEAT (REAR) - B-Ready wins . Recline of 2nd child add on - B ready was clearly better since it can recline to horizontal sleeping position. Vista had one position. It was not upright but slightly tilted back. More for a child chilling out and may nit be the best if kid is sleeping. The Vista seat was also closer to the front seat and B- Ready has more room for child in rear. A taller person may hit the B-Ready seat with their stride but I'm 5'10 and its not a problem. Also, note that the B-Ready second seat is in the rear of parent behind main seat FORWARD FACING whereas, Vista is in FRONT of main seat REAR FACING. Big difference here! I believe that's why the B-Ready can recline safely. I don't think I would want to have a Vista recline in front and therefore exposing the child's head. STORAGE - B-Ready wins (barely). B-Ready is accessible on all sides. Vista's is on the rear only. With the rear seat, this is important. However, the Vista has a bar running across where the kid can sort of step their feet on. The B-Ready has their feet in the entire basket and the kids would probably kick at your diaper bag. CONFIGURATIONS - B-Ready wins. B-Ready has 14 configurations vs. Vista's 3 configurations. Most notably are: B-Ready has ability to use two infant carriers at the same time. You can also place infant carrier in the rear (Vista you cannot. You can only put it in the front). B-Ready can use the bassinet with the second seat. Vista cannot use bassinet with rear seat. After all this, I am still having problems deciding. For me, it comes down to Vista's 0 degree position but no full recline in rear seat Vs. B-Ready's full recline rear seat but lack of 0 degree position. Edit: Update - I ended up buying the Britax B-ready. It's been used it for 6 weeks now. So far, its been great! Very nice, easy ride. It can be bumpy on cobble stones and uneven surfaces. If you want a smoother ride on these surfaces, you'll need bigger, air-filled tires. My complaint is the unfolding part. When unfolding, the plastic clip that holds the stroller , is tricky to "undo" so you can unfold it. You need to pull it out a bit before you unfold which can be tough. I think we'll need more practice at doing this. I'll report back in a few more months. .

Contours Options 3 Wheel Stroller, Berkley (Baby Product) I have had my stroller for a few months now. I love it still. I have owned the Graco travel system, a BoB stroller, a MacLaren Triumph and borrowed a friends Stokke stroller for several months. The Contours Options 3 Wheeler is my favorite. I have an older child (3 years old) with physical hardships. *I love that she can get in and out when she feels like walking. *I LOVE THAT THE HANDLE BAR IS HIGH, as I'm 5'10 and hate bending over a lot for other strollers. This stroller has a wide wheel base in the back, which is great because I don't kick it. There have been a few times it's been hard to get through clothes racks at the store, but other than that it's fine. It did take me a few times using it to adjust to the width. *I love how easily it pushes regardless if the front wheel is locked. *My daughter loves her own cup holder, as do I. I love that the parent tray is sturdy with 2 drink holders and a middle pocket. I wish it had a locked cover like the Jeep jogging stroller, but it's not an issue. * The storage basket is easy to access and big. *It was easy to assemble with directions and common sense. * I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the sunshade is tall and my daughters head doesn't touch it. *I get compliments on the look/style often. It looks and functions like a high end stroller yet it doesn't break the bank account. Overall, I have used and abused my stroller and it has held up really well. I wish this was the first stroller I ever bought. I have highly recommended it to many friends as well. .

Jeep Liberty Limited Urban Terrain Stroller, Spark (Baby Product) I love this stroller, it pushes like a dream compared to the stroller that came with the car seat that the in-laws bought us. The features are great, we have only 1 complaint with it; it doesn't fit in my trunk! I have a Toyota Camry, and it has a decent trunk. So then I had my husband try to put it in the back seat next to the car seat, no go. So I'd have to move the car seat to the side and not where it's safest in the middle OR try to fit it in the front seat and sit in the back with my son. So if anyone has any tricks on getting it in the trunk I'd sure like to hear them. Jeep Liberty Limited Urban Terrain Stroller, Spark (Baby Product) The back tire tube blew on our stroller, and the only way to fix it was through a bike shop or to call Kolcraft. Bike shops weren't able to fix it, and the only way we could order through Kolcraft was with the model number..
