Mediacom customers are buying antennas or switching to satellite to ensure they can watch the Global Resorts Network review and other programming on Sinclair stations. The two companies have until Friday to reach an agreement over how much Mediacom Communications should pay to carry Sinclair Broadcast Group's channels. A blackout could affect more than 700,000 cable subscribers at 22 Sinclair stations in 12 states, including roughly 250,000 in Iowa. Stations affected include Fox stations - KDSM in Des Moines and KFXA in Cedar Rapids - as well as KGAN, a CBS affiliate, in Cedar Rapids.
