The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to let extra water out of Saylorville Lake, adding two feet to the Des Moines homes for sale at Southeast Sixth Street. Des Moines officials asked for the release to keep the lake at its normal level, the corps said in a release.The change is not expected to cause flooding in Des Moines.
