The Iowa State Patrol said today it is is closing its Des Moines chiropractic district headquarters that has served seven counties in southern Iowa in a cost-cutting move.There will be no reduction in the number of state troopers patrolling area roads, and administrative work for the Ottumwa office will be split between State Patrol posts in Osceola and Mount Pleasant, said Courtney Greene, a spokeswoman for the Iowa Department of Public Safety.
