Keeping Safe- Measure to limit overtime would help nurses and their patients

New York's shortage of nurses has strained hospital staffs and placed patients at risk. Forced to work extra hours to make up for the shortfall, many nurses burn out from shifts that can stretch from 12 to 16 consecutive hours. That just makes a bad situation worse and endangers more lives.
